Foresthill Bridge
Bridge on California State Route 49 that crosses the
North Fork of the American River. It is 731 feet above
the riverbed, making it one of the highest bridges in
the United States, in terms of deck height.
The bridge is also known as the Auburn Bridge and
the Auburn-Foresthill Bridge. It can be seen in the
Vin Diesel film "Triple X" (aka xXx) and in the ending scenes of
the Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler film "The Ugly Truth".
Foresthill Leroy E. Botts Memorial Park
Community park located at 24601 Harrison Street in
the town of Foresthill. Facilities and amenities include
barbecue and picnic areas, a playground, gazebo, volleyball
courts, horseshoe pits, two baseball fields, a basketball
court, tennis courts a concrete dance floor.

Sugar Pine Reservoir
Lake created by building the Sugar Pine Dam across
Shirttail Creek. Recreational facilities include two campgrounds,
a boat ramp, a swimming beach, hiking trails, and a picnic area.
Main activities are boating, camping, fishing, hiking,
and swimming. Located about 17 miles northeast of Foresthill.
Forest Hill Divide Loop Trail
11.2 mile trail used mostly for mountain biking,
hiking, and trail running.
