Sacramento River Parks
Parks along the Sacramento River between the city of Sacramento
the mouth of the river near Suisun Bay. Parks are listed
fro north to south.
Elkhorn Regional Park
55-acre Yolo County park with facilities that include a boat
launching ramp, picnic area, parking lot and toilets.
Activities in the park include bird watching, boating,
fishing, picnics, and nature study.
Note that no overnight camping is allowed.
The park is situated between a levee and the west bank
of the Sacramento River in the city of West Sacramento.
Tiscomia City Park
This municipal park is situated on the east bank
of the Sacramento River in the City of Sacramento.
Features include the northern end of the Sacramento River Bike Trail.
Tiscomia Park is located at 195 Jibboom Street.
Sacramento River Parkway Trail
Four mile asphalt trail running along the east bank of the Sacramento
River in the city of Saramento.
It is the southern continuation of the American River Bike Trail.
The trail extends between Tiscomia City Park in the north
andthe the Bill Cothnin Sports Complex in the south.
Robert T. Matsui Waterfront Park
Located at 100 Jibboom Street in the city of Sacramento.

River Walk Park
Linear park along the west bank of the
Sacramento bounded by the "I" Street Bridge in the
north and the Tower Bridge in the South.
The park features views across the river of the Sacramento skyline,
a paved trail with educational nature and history signs,
four picnic areas, a Tower Bridge overlook area,
and an "I" Street Bridge overlook area. The
park also have a wide stairway often used
as seating for concerts and other special events.
The entrance to River Walk Park is located at 651 Second Street
in the city of West Sacramento.

Miller Regional Park
Park maanged by the city of Sacramento with
a boat ramp, boat trailer parking, a dock, and picnic areas.
Situated on a strip of land between the Sacramento
River and the Sacramento Marina.
The park entrance is located at 2710 Ramp Way in the city of Sacramento.
Garcia Bend City Park
Sacramento city park with a boat ramp, boat trailer parking,
picnic areas, and a nature area.

Cliff House Fishing Access Area
River access park about 14 miles upstream from the mouth
of the Sacramento River. Popular activities include fishing,
clamming, windsurfing, picnics.
Managed by the Sacramento County Regional Parks Department.
Sandy Beach Park and Campground
Solano County park on the west bank of the
Sacramento River, south of the town of Rio Vista.
Features a 24 hour boat launch, campsites, and picnic areas.
The park also has a sandy beach, but no swimming is
allowed because of strong river currents and sudden
drop-offs.
Brannan Island State Recreation Area
This park located northeast of the San Francisco Bay Area
features a maze of waterways through the
Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta area. The park
has a ten lane launch ramp and more then 140 campsites
and several picnic and swimming areas.
Delta Meadows River Park Property
Property managed by the State of California Parks Service.
Located at 17645 State Highway 160.
Activities include boating, hiking,
and fishing, but note that the park hgas
no restrooms or any other facilities,
and it may be closed at times.
Sherman Island Regional Park
Sherman island is known internationally as a top windsurfing spot
and other activities include fishing, boating, and picnics.

Park on an island in the San Joaquin River.
Formerly a San Juaquin County Park
South Spud Island Recreation Area
Park on a 100 are island in the San Joaquin River
about eight miles west of the city of Stockton.
Franks Tract State Recreation Area
California state park that is only accessible
by water. Located southeast of Brannan Island between
False River and Bethel Island. Popular activities
including fishing and waterfowl hunting.
