Black Butte River of California

Two sections of the Black Butte River received United States National Wild and Scenic River designation on October 17 2006. 17.5 miles of the river were designated "wild" and 3.5 miles were designated "scenic". the Black Butte River is managed by the Mendocino National Forest Office of the U.S. Forest Service.
