Cultural Sites and Museums
Little Saigon
The mile-long area of Bolsa Avenue from
Magnolia to Brookhurst is a Vietnamese cultural
hub that was official designated "Little Saigon"
by then California Governor George Deukmejian
on June 17, 1988. In September of 1989 the
Westminster City Council designated its Little Saigon
as a tourist zone and special redevelopment project.

After the Vietnam War ended
on April 30, 1975 a large number of Vietnamese
refugees fled their homeland to live in the
United States, and many of them settled in
Westminster.
Westminster Vietnam War Memorial
