NAME: Little Geiger Cove
Little Geiger Cove was named after George Ledu Geiger ((1912-1992) a recreational sailor who attended Boy Scout damp at Emerald Bay in the 1920's and who built and 18 foot yawl named the "Daisy R. Geoerge". A 14-ton vessel that foundered at Little Geiger Cove, Santa Catalina Island on November 21, 1957 <>/p>
The Offshore Cruising Club of Southern California leases shore area
at Little Geiger Cove. The club acquired its land lease at the cove in 1958.
The Offshore Cruising Club was founded in the 1950's
and it caps its membership at 25 members.
