Fischer-Hanion House
Structure that at one time was a gold rush era hotel
and located on First Street in Benicia. After
a 1856 fire, Swiss born merchant Joseph Fischer
had the bui8lding moved to "G" Street and
he added proches, servants quarters, and other
modifications that converted the hotel into a
private residence with a garden.
