Christmas Events in Yorba Linda
Holiday of Lights Boat Parade
Visitors and newcomers to Yorba Linda are often surprised to learn
the inland city has has its own holiday boat parade known
as the "Holiday of Lights Boat Parade", usually held in mid-December.
The parade takes place in Eastlake Village Shores,
a lakefront community in Yorba Linda's Eastlake Village
Development. The homes in Eastlake Shores are situated around
a 15 acre private lake that is really more of a series of canals.
Some of the canal-front homes have their own boat docks.

Handel's Messiah Community Sing-Along
Free concert held every year in the East Room
of the Richard Nixon Library. The audience
is invited to sing along with the Master Chorus and Orchestra.
Music scores are sometimes available for purchase
but singers who need them should bring their own
in case they are not

4th of July Spectacular of Yorba Linda
Annual U.S. Independence Day event featuring
daytime live music and food booths and evening fireworks.
Usually held in Veterans Park and Yorba Linda Middle School.

Polish Harvest Festival (Dozynki)
Celebration of Polish culture that incudes
the music, dancing, and foods of Poland
and cultural exhibits. Held at the
Pope John Paul II Polish Center at 3999 Rose Drive in Yorba Linda.
Usually held the third weekend in September.
Yorba Linda Celebration of the Arts
Family-friendly fine arts and music creativity event featuring
up to 100 exhibiters of performing art and visual art displays.
Includes activities for all ages and sharing of local talent
and creativity. Usually held in three locations: the Yorba Linda
Community Center, Hurless Barton Park, and the Thomas Lasorda Jr.
Memorial Field House.
Summer Entertainment Series in Yorba Linda
Yorba Linda Concerts in the Park
Summer concert series held July through August
at the amphitheater in Hurless Barton Park on Casa Loma Avenue.
Liited amphitheaster seating is available and
blankets or lawn chairs should be brought for lawn seating.
Attendees often bring picnics or purchase food at the event.
Yorba Linda Movies in the Park
Series of free summer outdoor movie screenings held
in the picnic shelter area of East Side Community Park and
the amphitheater in Hurless Barton Park. Attendees
shold bring blankets or low lawn chairs for lawn seating.
