Quakers in Yorba Linda
The first church in Yorba Linda was a Quaker church known
as the Friends Church, that was built in 1912 on a
site that today is on School Street in Downtown Yorba Linda.
The congregation moved to a new site on Main Street in 1928,
and in 1969 the moved to a new five acre site on Lakeview Avenue.
Charter members of the Yorba Linda Friends Church included Richard Nixon's parents,
Frank and Hannah Nixon.
