Vacaville Fiesta Days
Annual spring celebration held for the first time in July of 1957.
At that time the event was know as "Western Fiesta" and its
main events included a cowboy round-up, square dancing,
and a rodeo. Today the event is known as Fiesta Days because
in addition to American west heritage, it features the
community's Mexican and Spanish heritage.
It usually takes place in April or May, and it features
a parade, a fiesta queen pageant, a jail, a beard-growing contest
known as the Whiskerino (beard growing) contest,
a barbeque.
Vacaville Vintage Market
Outdoor market held on the 3rd Saturday of the month
in the parking lof of St. Paul's Methodist Church.
