Natural Bridges State Beach
65 acre beach featuring a natural mudstone bridge (arch), tide pools, and a Monarch Butterfly grove. Located at 2531 West Cliff Drive in Santa Cruz.

Seabright State Beach
Sandy beach extending between the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and Santa Cruz Harbor. Bordered on the west end by the mouth of the San Lorenzo River. Bordered on the east end by the ocean entry point of the Santa Cruz Small Boat Harbor. Dogs on leashes are allowed.

Twin Lakes State Beach
Mile long beach popular for swimming and picnics. Only the west end of this beach is within the city of Santa Cruz. The west end of the beach is adjacent to the ocean entry point of the Santa Cruz Small Boat Harbor. The east end of the beach is adjacent to Schwan's Lake, one of the area's best birdwatching sites.
