LA-Ontario International Airport
Originally an airstrip created in 1923 by a flying
club known as the "Friends of Ontario Airport".
Known as the "Ontario International Airport" from 1946
through 2006 when it was renamed to avoid confusion
with the Ontario Airport in Canada.
Located about three miles of the center of Ontario at
1923 East Avion Drive.
In 2011 more then the half of the flights
to and from this airport were operated by Southwest Airlines.

Barstow-Daggett Airport

Built in 1933 as a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Beacon Site.
about half the airport's flights are general aviation
and about half are military. Located about 7 miles east of
the center of Daggett, California and about 14 miles
east of the city of Barstow, at
39500 National Trails Highway.

San Bernardino International Airport (SBD)
1329 acre general lavation and cargo airport built in 1942 as the San Bernardino Air Depot.
The airport is capable of handling large commercial airliners but as of
the end of 2012, no commercial flights were operating.

on the former site of
Norton Air Force Base,
