Children's playground designed to be all-inclusive
and fully accessible to children with special needs and
all levels of abilities.
Tatum's Garden first opened in December of 2013.
Located at One Maryal Drive in Salinas.
Near Salinas
Toro County Park
County park near Salinas more than 4,700 acres in size,
that first opened in 1971. Park facilities include
more than 20 miles of hiking trail plus
equestrian riding trails, mountain biking trails,
two softball fields, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits,
and childrens playgrounds, and picnic areas.
Located about six miles southwest of Salinas at
501 Monterey-Salinas Highway 68 in Salinas.

Vision Quest Ranch
51 acre ranch formerly known as Wild Things Animal Rentals.
Located about 7 miles southeast of Salinas at 400 River Road.
Animal trainer and former Seaside police officer Charlie Sammut purchased
the property in 1994 and later turned it into a home for retired
show business animals, a public attraction offering zoo tours.
Other businsses on the property include
tented bungalow bed and breakfast accommodations and a pet kennel.
