Pismo Beach Monarch Butterfly Grove
The butterflies usually arrive in late October and
they usually leave in early March, making November through February
the best time to see butterflies. Located off Highway 1
on the south end of Pismo Beach.
Price Historical Park
Seven acre Pismo Beach city park and historic sites
centered around the rancho and home of Pismo Beach
founder John Price. The Price Rancho is listed on the
United States National Register of Historic Places and
it has been designated by the U.S. National Parks Service
as an historic and interpretive site on California's
Juan Bautista de Anza Trail. Other attractions in the park
include walking and hiking trails, picnic facilities,
and a replica of a Chumash Indian village. For more
