Laguna Beach Travel Guide
Note that the city of Laguna Beach has a non-contiguous section at Cameo Cove that is separated from the rest of the city by Emerald Bay and Emerald Canyon.

Dana Point Travel Guide
Most well-known for the Dana Point Small Boat Harbor and for Doheny State Beach. The city's harbor is a departure point for one of the ferries transporting passengers to Catalina Island.

San Clemente Travel Guide
The most southern coastal city in Orange county is known for its surfing culture, it's charming downtown district, and its two mile long coastal foot path. The city is adjacent to two state parks, San Clemente STate Beach and San Onofre State Beach.

Newport Coast

The section of Orange County coast south of Newport Beach and north of Laguna Beach was an unincorporated county area known as Newport Coast until much of that region was incorporated into the city of Newport Beach in 2001.

The Newport Coast neighborhood includes most of Laguna Coast Wilderness Park. It also includes the exclusive Emerald Bay Gated Community which is in a county area between two separate sections of the city of Laguna Beach.

Note that Crystal Cove State Park is in Laguna Beach but the Crystal Cove Historic Beach Cottages are in Newport Beach.
