Mojave Air and Space Port
3300 acre aerospace and flight research center
hosting more then sixty aerospace and flight testing
companies. The space port does not offer public tours but
once a month the Mojave Transportation Museum
organizes a "Plane Crazy Saturday", a day on which
visitors are permitted to enter the space sport
and eat at the port's Voyager Restaurant.

The museum is really a foundation with the long-term goal of
constructing a physical transportation museum
in Mojave with collections of pioneer-era aircraft,
automobiles, bicycles, carriages, motorcycles,
trains and engines either on loan or on permanent display.
Mojave is a "Train Town USA"
In April of 2013 the town of Mojave was
designated a "Train Town USA" as part of
Union Pacific's ongoing efforts to highlight
towns and cities with historical connections
to the railroad line.
Tehachapi-Mojave Wind Resource Area
Wind energy farms were first constructed in the
mountains and foothills between Mojave and Tehachapi
in the 1980's and today that area is one of the top
wind energy producers in the world.
