Andres Pico Adobe / Romulo Pico Adobe (1853)
The oldest residence in the San Fernando Valley is the second
oldest residence in the City of Los Angeles. It is known
as the Andres Pico Adobe, the romulo Pico Adobe, and sometimes
as Ranchito Romulo. Located at 10940 Sepulveda Boulevard in
the Mission Hills, San Fernando Valley section of the
City of Los Antgeles.
RANCHO ROMULO HISTORIC MARKER TEXT:
- Oldest portion built about 1834 by Ex-Mission Indians.
- Enlarged by Eulocio de Cells in 1846
- Upper story added by Romulo Pico in 1874
- Restored by Mr & Mrs Harrington in 1930
