Marysville Bok Kai Festival
Annual Chinese culture festival held in the Chinatown area of Historic Marysville for more then 130 years. Features a parade featuring the Bok Kai8 Dragon, a "bomb day" featuring firecrackers, a festival, and a running and walking event.

Beckwourth Frontier Days
Annual living history festival honoring mixed-race pioneer and trailblazer James P Beckwourth. visitors enter the festival through an entryway shaped like a giant conestoga wagon and they follow the Beckwourth Trail through exhibits and encampments featuring mountain men, a wagon train, buffalo soldiers, native Americans, and gold prospectors. Held at Marysville's Beckwourth Riverfront Park.
