Last steam locomotive to operate on the 12 mile long Amador Central Railroad that connected the towns of Ione and Martell. The engine was made in 1901 and was transferred from the McCloud River Railroad to the Amador Central Railroad in 1956. The last trip made by this engine was in 1956. Iron Ivan is located on North Church Street near the Ione City Hall.
