Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival
Huge, three day, multiple-genre music festival held every year
at the Empire Polo Field in Indio. The event features
alternative rock, hip hop, and electronic music performed
on several stages and a sculptural art exhibit.
Usually takes place the third or fourth weekend in April
Indio Date Festival
The Indio Date Festival is dnow part of a combined
event called the Riverside County Fair and National
Date Festival. The 2011 event is scheduled to take
place February 18-27, 2011 and it will feature
camel races, ostrich races, a carnival,
foot booths, arts and crafts boths,
and a nightly Arabian Nights musical pageant.
Southwest Arts Festival
The 2011 Southwest Arts Festival will take place
January 28-30, 2011 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.

Huge country music festival that takes place
every year at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.
The 5th Annual Stagecoach Country Music Festival will
take place on Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1, 2011
The country music stars scheduled to appear include
Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood Darius Rucker,
Loretta Lynn, Josh Turner, Leon Russell, Easton Corbin,
the Gatlin Brothers, Jack Ingram, Mel Tillis, Rodney Crowell,
Wanda Jackson, Rhonda Vincent, and many others.
Indio International Tamale Festival
Takes place every December in the old town section of Indio.
