Fillmore and Western Railway
Privately owned railway company operating on a railraod track owned by the Ventura County Transportation Commission. Known as the "Hollywood Movie Trains" because most of its railroad cars were acquired from three movie studios, 20th Century Fox, Paramount, and MGM, and because its trains are often used as a filming location for films, television series, and commercial advertisements. The Fillmore and Western Railway also offers tourist train rides, weekend excursions, dinner trains, murder mystery trains, shopping excursions, and special events such as the Railroad Days Festival, Christmas Tree Trains, and children's events.
