Race Through the Redwoods
Annual 10 kilometer foot race with a course
entirely within Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park in Felton.
The course includes both paved road and dirt path segments
and it has a rise of approximately 300 feet.
Also has a 1 mile fun run for children age 2 through 12.
Held on the third Sunday in August.
Felton Memorial Weekend Parade / Covered Bridge Festival
The Felton Memorial Weekend Celebration includes a parade and
community festival on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend.
The celebration includes the Felton Remembers Memorial Weekend Parade
followed by the Covered Bridge Festival.
The celebration includes live music, children's activities and
booths featuring local artists, food, beer wine, and local
organizations. The parade starts at Cowell Redwoods State Park,
usually about 10:00 a.m. and it ends at Covered Bridge Park
where the festival takes place all afternoon.
Musical Saw Contest and Festival
Saw musician's festival held on the grounds of the Roaring Camp Railroad.
Includes saw playing contest and continuous music all day
performed by musicians and bands playing
musical saws, guitars, mandolins, fiddles, accordion,
and other instruments, and many genres of music.
Free to the public. Held since 1978.
Redwood Mountain Fair
Annual music festival held on the grounds of the Roaring Camp Railroad.
Features live music on two stages, arts and crafts, children's activities,
food, microbrewery beers, and local wines.
Felton Farmer's Market
Held every Tuesday afternoon from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.
at 120 Russell Avenue in Downtown Felton.
Felton Tree Lighting Ceremony and Santa Visit
Annual holiday tree lighting ceremony with Christmas carols,
hot cider, hot chocolate, cookies, Santa Claus arriving on
a fire engine, and photos with Santa.
