Originally it was primarily a silent movie house
but the grand opening on February 11, 1928 freatured
one of the first talking movies shown in the area:
"The Cohens and Kelleys in Paris". Actress Mary Pickford
attended the grand opening.

Theater is used today for movies, concerts, and stage shows
and there is a live performance of the Rocky Horror Picture
Show almost every Friday at midnight.
