Anderson Marsh State Historical Park
Protected area more then 1,000 acres in size situated on the
southeast side of Clear Lake and adjacent to Clearlake City.
The area has been preserved for both its history and its ecology.
Features the McVicar Wildlife Sanctuary, the
Marsh, Ridge, Anderson Flats, and Cache Creek Nature Trail,
Pomo Native American artifacts, several foot trails an old ranch house,
Popular site for birdwatching, wildlife viewing, nature walks,
and historic sites.
Located on Highway 53, on the shore of Clear lake,
adjacent to the south side of Clearlake City and adjacent to the
north side of Lower lake.
