Campgrounds on Catalina Island
Information about campgrounds on Catalina Island \
in Southern California.
Catalina has five campgrounds that are all situated on Catalina Island Conservancy land, and that are all operated by the Catalina Island Company. They all have tent sites and two of them also have tent cabins. Two of the campgrounds are near local communities. The Hermit Gulch Campground is walking distance from the city of Avalon and the Two Harbors Campground is walking distance from the village of Two Harbors. Both of these campgrounds have both tent sites and tent cabins. One of the campgrounds, the Black Jack Campground is in the remote interior of the island, about halfway between Avalon and Two Harbors. The other two campgrounds are situated on or near the beach in more remote parts of the island. The Parson's Landing Camground is on thenorth shore of the island and it can only be accessed by hiking or boating. The Little Harbor campground is on the west shore of the Catalina.
