City Parks

Avalon City Park
Also known as "Machine Gun Park" Park about 0.44 acres acres in size. Has rope climbing facilities, playground equipment, picnic tables, and barbecue grills. It is situated on a sloping land with grassy, sandy, and brick surfaces. Located before it turns into Crescent Avenue. Small city park with a playground and a German machine gun from World War I that was donated to the city in 1925. Located at 708 Crescent Avenue at Pebbly Beach Road (on the inland side of the road).

Avalon Kids Park
Also known as "People's Park" Shady park 0.72 acre in size with picnic tables, playground equipment, and grassy areas. The northern tip of the park is located at the intersection of Tremont Street, Avalon Canyon Road, and Country Club Drive. The park's address is 410 Avalon Canyon Road.
