TIME TO HIKE: Typically 2 to 4 days
EAST TRAILHEAD: Renton Mine Trailhead
WEST TRAILHEAD: Staright Beach Trailhead

The Trans-Catalina Trail crosses Catalina Island from tip to tip on rugged single track trails and 4-wheel drive jeep roads. The trail offers spectacular views of the ocean and the surrounding country side. The best time to hike the entire trail is in the Fall and Spring because the trail fan be wet in winter and very hot in summer. It is possible to hike only short sections of the trail.

What You Need to Know
- Hikers must obtain a permit from the Catalina island Conservancy
- Trans-Catalina trail has very little shades
- Hiking the trail is only allowed during daylight hours
