About the Catalina Island Conservancy
Private land trust established in 1972 to protect 88% of Catalina Island including 62 miles of beaches and coves. Conducts conservation programs to protect and restore Endangered species and threatened habitats and educational programs through the Wrigley Memorial and Botanic Garden, two nature centers, guided excursions in the rugged interior of the island, and the radio series "Isla Earth".
