New Brighton State Beach
Beach state park situated near a Monterey Pine and Live Oak forest.
Activities include picnics, swimming, fishing.
The park's "Pacific Migration Visitors Center"
is open in the Spring and Summer.
Located at 1500 Park Avenue in Capitola
(take the New Brighton-Park AVenue exit off of Highway One).
Capitola Wharf
855 foot wooden pier with facilities that include
fish cleaning stations, restrooms, benches, night lights,
the
Wharf House Restaurant, and the
Capitola Boat and Bait Shop.
The pier was rebuilt in the 1980's after the former pier was
nearly destroyed by a storm.
