Torrey Pines State Beach
California state park with a three mile long beach
that stretches between Carmel Valley Road and the
Torrey Pines Glider Port.
The beach park has bathrooms with showers, and a aring lot.
Located at 12600 North Torrey Pines Road in the
Torrey Pines-La Jolla Area of San Diego City.

Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve
Wilderness area featuring one of the most rare pine trees
in the United States, Pinus torreyana, commonly known as
the Torrey Pine. The preserve also protects a salt marsh
and waterfowl refuge, coastal cliffs, and deep ravines.
Facilities include hiking trails and a visitor's center
in a structure built as a restaurant in 1923.
On weekends and holidays docent led hikes are
available, usually between 10:00 a.m;. and 2:00 p.m.

Torrey Pines Golf Course
36 hole municipal golf course set on a cliff overlooking
the Pacific Ocean. The 36 holes are in two 18 hole courses, the North Course
and the South Course, both originally designed by William F.l Bell.
The North Course was redesigned by Rees Jones in 2001.
The golf course was built in 1957 on the site of the former Camp Callan,
a World War II army camp and today it is owned by the city of San Diego
and operated by the Torrey Pines Club Corporation.
Annual events include the
Farmer's Insurance Open Golf Tournament,
usually held in January or February. Other
events include the
San Diego City Amateur Golf Championships in June
and the
Junior World Golf Championships in July.
In 2008 it also hosted the
108th U.S. Open Golf Tournament.
TheTorrey Pines Golf Course is Located just south of
Torrey Pines State Reserve at 11480 Torrey Pines Park Road.
