Beer Festival of California
The Santa Cruz County edition of the California Beer Festival is held over two days at Aptos Village Park, usually in August. The event features a Saturday beer tasting event known as the "Craft Beer Haven" and an all day Sunday music festival called the "Hamburger and Hops Music Festival".

Blues Festival of Santa Cruz
Weekend blues music festival at Aptos Village Park at 100 Aptos Creek Road. Features live performances, food, beer, and wine. Usually held in May.

All Star Dog Run
Runners are invited to bring their dog to this annual event in Aptos Village Park and the Forest of Nisane Marks State Park. The course is on paved roads and fire roads and categories are 5 and 10 kilometers for Runner and dog teams and runners only. Usually held in September.

Farmer's Markets in Aptos

Aptos Farmer's Market
Farmer's market held year-round, rain or shine on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Located at Cabrillo College. See also the market's Local Harvest Profile.

Seascape Village Farmer's Market
Weekly faremer's market held every Sunday from 11:00 am. to 2:00 p.m. in the courtyard of the Shops at Seascape Village Shopping Center.

Former Events in Aptos

Monte Foundation Fireworks Extravaganza
Annual event held for many years at Seacliff State Beach in Aptos. Featured more then 50 game and food booths and an event fireworks display. The event was held for 18 years but the 2013 event was cancelled because of financial issues. The event may be ressurected in the future, possibly by partnering with another large Santa Cruz County event.
